Hi!
I’m Miranda,

You want to know my story?  I’m glad you do.  Because I want to tell my story.  All of this – -this website, this podcast, my speaking, coaching and programs are all about my story.  My story thus far, and my story to come, are what drive me to make a living from 9 – 5, and a life from 5 – 9.

Background

I grew up in Southern California, and went to Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.  I’ve practiced law for 20 years focusing on criminal defense.  I love to champion the underdog.  Also (and I love this) remember the cartoon character “Underdog?”  He was Shoeshine boy’s heroic alter ego and saved Sweet Polly Purebread.  It’s a double-whammy.  I fight for the underdog, by being Underdog.   “There’s no need to fear!  Underdog is here!”

The fancy way to say all that is that I am a partner and chair of criminal defense in the Irvine office of Wilson Keadjian Browndorf, an international full service law firm.  I love what I do and serving my clients.

Family

I married my husband Bill (the COO of The Inspired Lawyer, and our lives) ten years ago.  We have two fun kids who go to school, karate, scouts, etc.  And a BEAUTIFUL poodle named Charley.  Also, like many of you, I have parents, and in-laws and friends, and hobbies and am pulled in many directions.  Haircuts and homework and groceries, oh my!  And, I like to say that I will to go to yoga and meditate but never do.  Anyone else out there?

The fancy way to say all that is that I am a Real Estate License Defense Attorney.

Passion and Purpose

I am a transformation junkie.  What’s that?  Well, I love to learn.  And, I love to learn about me.  And you.  I love to learn why we humans do what we do.  The fancy way to say that is “ontology,” or the study of beingness.  After 20 years of being trained by the transformational greats, and many of the other personal development scholars who share their tools with us, I realized that it was my turn to take the stage and share the tremendous amount of intellectual property I have around transformation and inspiration with YOU.  I want to make a difference in the lives of successful professional women who just know there is something more to life than “this,” and want to reinvent the way they practice life.

I propose to do that in three ways:

By sharing the weekly conversations I have with these transformational greats with you through The Inspired Lawyer podcast.

By coaching you on how to reinvent the practice of life by assisting you in finding your purpose and passion, and walking with you through your own transformation and transition to the business and life you really want to have.

By taking the stage and sharing what I’ve learned to audiences both small and large.  (Requests and referrals welcome!)

AND…da da da…coming soon The Inspired Lawyer will be hosting retreats and Masterminds for those of you who want to play along.

That’s my story.

For now…
